Hi All
Had a little accident on my Kalkhoff Endeavour Impulse S10 and i have snapped the RHS/front brake lever only ,the remaining unit on the bar still works fine if i push the 'plunger' in which is operated by brake lever arm as in pic,the small ball ended silver bit, no oil has escaped at all.........Can i just fit a new lever arm ?
I also require a new hanger, anybody know what type it is ? The derailleur seems ok and is XT.
Cheers guys

If you can get a lever it should not be a problem
Hanger is bike specific to for both items talk to the shop that provided them."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Thanks for reply, i found a video of renewing the lever blade and it's a VERY simple procedure -

The plastics caps mine have came off easily without damge plus the centre pin can be removed very easily with a correct size end of a drillbit.
Can not find a lever blade ANYWHERE though !!!! :?Specialized Epic FSR Carbon Comp0 -
Thinking of just replacing the whole lot (except caliper) with Shimano M575 or 675.
I just want something EASY to bleed, with half decent braking.......Plus cheap on oil.
What do you recommend guys ?
What's the difference between the two above and are they the type that take the Shimano bleed tool that you just screw on top ?

But who knows."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

I currently have Magura MT4, but have no idea how to bleed them PLUS the support forum for them and getting parts seems impossible !!!
I was just going to buy somthing like this and replace the whole fron system

or the M675 which is only a few pound more....Specialized Epic FSR Carbon Comp0 -
Yes you will need a full set up for the end."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

575 are pretty cr4p. For £34 you can get 615s from CRC.I don't do smileys.

Cheers, how easy are they to bleed, my last set of Shimano brakes were VERY simple, like a car.
Just put lever level, remove cover, loosen bleed nipple (attach tube/bag) and pump new oil through by pulling ever/topping up etc.

Very easy.
But no reason they should need it for ages.
