I am going to need to change the tires of my bike, the wheel is 26", it currently has an older model of the Michelin rock'r 2.1 at the front and Maxxis Larsen TT 2.0 at the rear.
I like to have a fast and easy rolling bike and i think Larsen TT on the rear is doing an excellent job, but I feel that the front could be better, i would like to have a bit more grip in the front but still maintain a good balance between curve control and low rolling resistance, bellow i lay down my top setup choices for front and rear, I would like to ear your opinions in order to get a good tire setup.
Front / RearMaxxis
Ikon 26x2.2 / Maxxis Larsen TT 26x2.0
Continental Mountain King Pure Grip 26x2.2 / Continental Race King Pure Grip 26x2.2
Hutchinson Cobra 26x2.25 / Hutchinson Python 26x2.2
Michelin Wild Grip'r 26x2.10 Tubeless Ready / Michelin Wild Race'r 26×2.10 Tubeless Ready
My rides usually include about 30% asphalt roads and 70% XC mountain trails.
All these tires are in the range of 20 to 25€, if you have other sugestions in this price range, or even a mix of 2 tires from my top choices please let me know.
