Road bike hire in Vevey / Montreux

So it looks like work will be taking me to Vevey for a couple of days next week and it would be rude not to try and squeeze in a quick ride whilst out there.

Can anyone recommend a decent road bike hire place in or as close as possible to Vevey?

    I'm just back from that area and used this company, based in Saillon which is about 25 minutes from Vevey.

    Contact Dominik on the e-mail given on the website and he will look after you. I hired a top spec Kuota KOM bike for four days for CH180 (£126). This is much cheaper than having the bike delivered for you by train. Price is strictly CH60 a day, but I stretched it to four days by haggling a little.

    You'll need to leave a piece of ID as a deposit. They speak no English, but I got by in basic French. Ask to louer un velo re route, haut de gamme.

    I tried a few routes in the area. From Saillon, you are close to Riddes - La Tsoumaz which is a testing 13.5k climb at 9.3% average.
