Temporay Water holder

I normally ride in my singlespeed which doesn't have a bottle cage - ordinarily this isn't a problem over 25km and I can just about get in without having to drink anything. Previously if it was hot I'd swap to my road bike and it'd be fine. I've recently changed jobs which is a further commute and I'm tied to the singlespeed because the access to the bike shed is for that bike only - so without further ado.....
Is there such thing as a temporary cage? I can't fit a camelbak bladder into my backpack

I don't think so no.
I'd suggest either just fitting a bottle cage or stopping to get a drink from say a petrol station/cafe0 -
I can't attach a cage unfortunately
You did say pub rather than garage/cafe didn't you?2015 Cervelo S3

try this http://www.wiggle.co.uk/tacx-bottle-cage-saddle-mount/ or put a bottle in your jersey pocket0
-
Or, just use a few stout cable ties to affix a cage to the frame in the normal position, perhaps with a bit of rubber/tape underneath to keep it from sliding around.0

The problem I have with this is I imagine the water will be body temp before long. But on really hot days, you could fill with ice and cool yourself at the same time.0 -
I'd just put a bottle in your jersey pocket. I have two cages on my road bike, one for a water bottle, and one for another bottle but filled with tools. (I hate having tools in my jersey) If I'm doing anything over 60 miles, or when it's hot, I take a third bottle, generally just a lucozade bottle in my jersey pocket. Then I can just throw it away after a couple hours.Cycling prints

I believe traditional survival kits use condoms for this. Fill one with water and tie to your frame?FCN 9 || FCN 50

Temporay Water holder = bladder?0

I had the same problem on my charge plug.
I use Elite bottle cage mounts bought from Halfords for about £2.50.
Work perfectly (in that I don't think about them and haven't needed to adjust).0 -
I bought a clamp on bottle holder off Amazon for my Kinesis Crosslight, not the best bit of kit but did what it said on the tinFirst love - Genesis Equilibrium 20

There are plenty of ways to attach bottles, including behind the seat. I have the Xlab delta 100 but it can act as a torpedo at times.
But as I'm not currently using that and don't want any crap on my frame am using a Salomon soft running bottle.

It's a bit like an expensive version of this...I believe traditional survival kits use condoms for this. Fill one with water and tie to your frame?0 -

Bell do a clamp on bottle holder, my local Asda generally have them. Not a great picture but they're like this
