Oh my goodness could I make the podium? Still another Zubeldia like top-10 for me. I expect Sky to be calling any minute to snaffle me up for their mountain train.

    Stage 21: Andre Greipel

    Please.

3 weeks of hard graft are over - you have pored over the form and made the tactical choices about which moves to follow. Despite accusations of doping (aka studying INRNG's ones to watch) no proof was found and I declare the podium as follows:

    1 - shazzz
2 - Above the Cows (same points s RonB but on stages won AtC takes second step)
    3 - RonB

RonB also wins the super combativity prize for taking a risk on the final stage and going for Sagan to try to beat shazzz - in doing so he lost not only the yellow jersey but also 2nd place!

    Yay!
Proof, as if it were needed, that you can carry form from the Dauphine in to the Tour, although I am mentally exhausted now. The race ended just in time for me....
Dan Martin was my secret weapon. Stuck with him on 3 stages and he didn't let me down.
Thanks to Mr Poll for an being an exceptional commissaire.

I wonder how well you could have done just by picking Sagan for every stage ?

I am not asking for extra work by Mr Poll - who deserves many plaudits - so not really suggesting it but it would be interesting to know how many PTPers actually did worse in the competition than Sagan actually did in the race.

I just kept on forgetting to place a bet so I stopped - that's my excuse and I am sticking to it.
