Hi All.
Have any of you put Stans fluid in there tubes, if so how much did you put in them ( I would like to try and keep it as light as possible )
I want to do it on my 10 years bike, he doing the Scott MTB Marathon this week end and know they have started cutting the hedges he's been getting loads of punctures, I've got him a new set of tyres for the race and didn't want to do them tubeless because you know what kids are like for skids, so after the race I'm going to take them back off and put his part worn tyres back on, just making it easier to swap and change.

You can do it if the tube has a removable core, use about 50ml, or make a nick in the tube, insert Stans and then patch it!Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0
