Can I mix and match SRAM Groupset

Hi,
I have a SRAM Force 10 speed crankset, front derailleur and left shifter.
Rather than getting the rear derailleur, cassette and right shifter in SRAM Force I would like to get this in SRAM Red.
Would this work? I mean as long as the SRAM Red shifter, cassette and derailleur were 10 speed then I assume it would be ok? The front end would be Force and the back end Red, and as they are both 10 speed the chain would just be a SRAM 10 speed chain?
Thanks in advance for your advice.

This would work. You could also get an 11 speed RD, wouldn't make any difference. If you don't have the parts already though, wouldn't it make more sense to get 11 speed shifter and cassette?0

Well I already have the 10 speed chainset so I'm guessing I can't use this with an 11 speed back end as the width of the chain would need to be different?0

The width of the chain is different, but it won't matter. 10 speed crank will work fine with 11 speed group.0
