RockShox Monarch RT vs Monarch RT

Hi all..

My Giant Anthem that I ordered is speced as a RockShox Monarch RT, on the Giant website and on the website where I bought it from.

The bike I received today has a RockShox Monarch RL?

Can someone point me to any difference between the two?

    Very little, if you look on rocksox site, they are both the model up from the R, with the RT having threshold adjustment and the RL having lockout. In reality though they both have rebound adjustment and open/pedal compression adjustment.

    Similar level of performance but slightly different. The Anthem pedals so well you don't need to use the lock.
    I have had a couple Monarchs now, they feel really harsh for the first couple hundred miles before they bed in and loosen up.
