Zipp 404 Clincher vs Fulcrum Red Wind XLR Cult

Lookin at a set of carbon clincher wheels and in particular the 404s vs the xlr cult.
The fulcrums are cheaper, and lighter with cult ceramic bearings....so i am thinking why would i pay more for the 404s (its not that simple i know). XLR have a 50mm profile vs 58mm for the 404. XLR have an alu braking surface.
what would people recommend? anyone had experience of both?
