Try a few on - the absolute best will be the one you feel most comfortable in.0

^^^this
fit varies as do head shapes, other things to consider...
if you'll be using it in winter make sure there's enough adjustment range to allow wearing a cap or balaclava
have you already got some glasses for eye protection? check that the arms don't foul with the cradle of the helmet as some combinations do not work so wellmy bike - faster than god's and twice as shiny0 -
Also consider buying one with MIPS protectionI'm sorry you don't believe in miracles0

As others have mentioned, you really don't know until you try it on. Everyone raves about the Kask Mojito to the point I considered replacing my Giro Savant. I popped down to my local shop to try it on and it was so uncomfortable in comparison.0

After several years using Prevails (both lost to crashes) I took a punt on the Synth at the start of the year. It's just as good as the Prevail (IMO) and the fit is pretty much the same save for a bit more adjust ability at the back. It looks the business too. Well worth a shot.0

I got one to replace my Aeon. Works for me, although it is heavier than the Aeon.0

Fit is foremost. You're only thinking the Synthe is the best as its the most expensive. I love my Mojito - but you might not. I doubt aero advantage is worth much to us mortals.0
