Hi,
Just gathering views here, having just finished Mountain Mayhem for the 7th year my Merida Matts Trail has finally given up the ghost. So I am going to upgrade and, being a patriotic soul, I want to keep it British. So I just wondered if people had views on the relative performance between the new PACE RT127, the Bird Zero.1 and the Kinesis FF29.
Thanks all
Jay

Those three bikes cover a pretty wide spread of fork travel as Kinesis is 100-120mm, Pace is 130-150mm and Bird I think is typically 140mm. You also have a mix of wheel sizes.
Kinesis is obviously going to be the racier XC type but depends what the majority of your riding is like and your intentions/preference.
I have the Kinesis and love it, but I also ride mainly XC.0 -
Good spot, as a "non-techie", how does that impact the ride? I do some xc riding from home but do enter a few enduro races throughout the year. From what I read, the 650b whellsize of the Pace and Bird give the bike agility, whereas the 29 of Kinesis will roll over the terrain a piece of cake (although on the website they mention the agility of the FF29)!0
