My dad has given me the project of restoring out very old Claud Butler bike. However I am a bit stuck and I thought I would ask the advice of you here. My problem is I dont know where I can get parts that fit. I'm not sure about these things but I wrote down what numbers are on the tyres and inner tubes.
Tyres: 28-622 (28 x 1 5/8 x 1 1/8)
Inners: 27-28 x 1.5 / 8 x 1.1 / 8 x 1.1 / 4

If someone could link me to somewhere I can get these that would be greatly appreciated!

    Welcome to the forum.

28-622 tyres are also called 700 28C. This is a standard size and you will be able to find some tyres that size from any local bike shop, online, or even Halfords. Inner tubes often fit a range of tyre widths, so just find one that says 700 with a width that includes 28, it may say 23 - 32 for example.

Good luck doing up the old bike. I used my old Claud Butler on the way to work this morning. The frame is probaby the only original part now, but it is ideal for commuting.
