What nipple dimensions do I have?

Hi, I am changing brass nipples for alloy ones and need to know what specification (14g, 15g, 12, 14, 16???) nipples I have so I can buy new ones.

Spokes are 2mm in diameter.

    Google will tell you that 2mm is 12g in America and 14g in the UK.

    But why swap decent brass nipples for rubbish aluminium?

    I'm inclined to agree that's really not a worthwhile change. Do you just want silver? If so then I've got a load if of interest.

    Just get 14mm, you'll find plenty sold in the UK as 2mm diameter.
