5700 shifters and dura ace 7800 or 7900 front mech?

having seen the art's cyclery video on mixing component levels i am
considering upgrading my 5700 front mech (of full 5700 system) to dura ace 7800 or 7900 (or perhaps 6700).
Is the cable pull on the 5700 shifter the same for left/front with the "upgraded" front mechs?
what are the differences between 7800 and 7900?
would 6700 be more worthwhile than 7800?
has anyone done this? is there a real/tangible/worthwhile difference in front shifting.
thanks in advance.

No. A front derailleur is a very simple thing, a Dura Ace one will not make the shifting any better.0

+1, front mech is about the last thing i'd upgrade on a bike - a dura ace (or ultegra) rear mech would be a good investment. 7800 or 7900 rear mech would work fine0
