What special tools do I need to maintain a single speed bike?
Does it require another chain link removal tool? (I have a park tool CT-3)
What about for the sprocket? I have a couple of Shimano/SRAM and Campag BB/cassette removal tools.

Single speed or fixie?
Single speed freewheel from Shimano or White Industries needs a tool like Park FR6
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0 -
Nothing particularly special.
A good chain tool for when you are changing chains, 15mm spanner for wheel nuts, chain whip for changing sprockets, lockring tool if you run fixed with lockring (I do not use a lockring on my fixed).
Really nothing out of the ordinary if you have a decent toolkit anyway.
You might need something special to remove the freewheel thing, but not really something I have ever experienced.0 -
I already have a couple of chain whips, but would having one dedicated for larger SS chains be best?Say... That's a nice bike..

Only if you are using a wider teeth sprocket so the chain on the whip won't fit, if it will fit, it's fine. Most SS use a normal 5,6,7,8 speed chain in which case it's fine.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0

I've found this simple "multi tool" useful on a couple of occasions:

If you can't get a chain whip on a wide sprocket or freewheel, what you can use is a oil filter chain wrench, you can get them for a few quid from a car accessory place.Disc Trucker

Bought Park Tool FR6 for freewheel
I need a lockring tool. Is Park Tool HCW-17 ok?
Also would a regular chain whip be ok (I have two) or should I get 3/32 chain whip? Could I damage sprocket with my existing chain whips?Say... That's a nice bike..

TBH if you're running single speed rather than fixed, there's no need for a chainwhip, the freewheel tool is all you need.
If you've got fixed as well, you're existing chainwhips will probably work, give them a try to check. I just like having one tool for lockring and chainwhip, keeps the toolbag compact...0
