cateye padrone or evo

Im looking at buying a cycle computer and wanting something with a biggish screen I came across the cateye padone.this has favourable reviews and as I plan on using my phone running strava to log my ride I'm wanting this just as a riding speed display.I've also noticed the evo and evo plus model which uses gps to track instead of the speed sensor so I'm wondering if anyone knows what would be best.I may add a heart rate monitor at a later date but will also probably buy a garmin Edge Touring In 6 Months. Hmmmmmm decisions
