Hi forum members
You've always been helpful and I need some advice.

Looking to buy a new uber racing machine and have these two bikes in mind. The venge has ultergra 6800 11 speed.

What do members think is the best deal for 4k or less?

    I had the Venge and loved it - however, switched to a Giant Propel SL (SL2 is £4k and has Ultegra 22 speed kit) and it is an improvement on all fronts (speed, comfort, etc.)

    New Venge due to be announced shortly. If you are willing to hang on there might be some good deals on the current version.

    I personally think the Venge is way overpriced and has been superceded in terms of aero, ride quality and value by rivals.
