Picked up a set of fulcrum zero nites a while back and really like them except the brake pads require constant cleaning. Wondering if this is the norm or if anyone has any suggestions? Attaching a photo after cleaning them and then doing a quick 40km ride.

That's normal for them, they wear very rapidly. I clean the brake track and pads after every ride and there is always a lot of brake dust on th frame. I virtually destroyed a set inside 150 very hilly miles, my second set is lasting a lot longer but I got caught in the rain (and a muddy lane) on Sunday and the black brake track wore off in places.

I've emailed Fulcrum and they said its normal, I can return them for a replacement but they can't guarantee it not happening again, so I don't see the point. I did email them back though saying they should make it clear that the black coating which people pay ~£200 extra for isn't actually permanent.

Basically, if you went them to stay black don't get caught in the rain.
