First Bike - Voodoo

Hey guys - first post ^__^
I've recently been thinking of taking up mountain biking (I'm unsure what "type" - it seems confusing :?) but anyway, that aside I've been looking at the different bikes at my local Halfords and then yesterday I spotted a new range of Voodoo bikes (I don't know anything about Voodoo but their flagship Hardtail seems to be popular and won a lot of awards last year).
I'm thinking of going with one of the Full Suspension options from the range (Canzo or Zoboo) and just wanted a "professional opinion" so to speak as I don't really know what I should be looking for in terms of parts, fork travel and other specification.

I've done a bit of research and I've also budgeted to add new pedals (thinking Shimano Saints) and also for a new saddle and grips (not sure what to go for here).
If one of you would be able to take a look at the two bikes and advise it would be very much appreciated - I'm also a member of the British Cycling Club so get discount from Halfords.
Thanks a lot for reading and I look forward to your replies ^__^

I'm no expert on full sus at this price point, but the Canzo spec doesn't look great for the money. I would definitely look at other brands, others will advise which I'm sure.
The saints get good reviews. I just got some nukeproofs for £35 and they are brilliant, so grippy. As for grips I have odi lock-ons, but see what you get with the bike, you may like them. The same with the saddle, you may be surprised with the one it comes with.Daddy, Husband, Designer, Biker, Gamer, Geek

They have spent the money on the Zoboo where it matters, the forks and shock, the rest is all perfectly competent kit. I quite like that spec for the money, the Canzo isn't bad by any means, but the Epicon is rather at its limit at 140mm and for me that is one compromise too many.
Not get Saints, get Superstar Nano or Nukeproof electron (same pedal under the badge) much better value for money.
Only change saddle and grips if you need to, the standard parts are perfectly good parts if they suite you.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0
