13 Range of Bikes

Hi I'm looking at getting a new bike through cycle to work scheme and was looking at around the £1000 mark we have to go through Halfords so was thinking the Boardman Road Team Carbon but then this popped up the 13 Intuition Alpha http://www.halfords.com/cycling/bikes/road-bikes/13-intuition-alpha-road-bike-2015?cm_re=banner-_-cycling+Pages-_-tradeuppromo#tab3 apparently the 13 range of bikes is there own brand does any one have any experience of these seems good value for the money just looking to see if anyone knows what they are like. As a little concerned as it is Halfords own in house brand a nd you hear all the horror stories about halfords.
