Hi everyone,
First off i'm sure you read this stuff all the time and get sick to death with it, i am a complete beginner and haven't owned a bike since i was about 14 lol.
I have decided to get into biking an have £415 to spend and that's the top end of my budget! personally i'm leaning toward the Carrera kracken which i can buy for £409 if i get it today/tomorrow. A friend said for the money i can't really go wrong, its a lot of bike for the money.

but have been told by another friend to buy a trek bike instead (3700)

looking to get some non biased advice lol, or maybe recommend an alternative that is superior,
many thanks
Stuart

Definitely the Carrera over the Trek, no contest. The Carrera is excellent for the price .
British Cycling membership gets you a worthwhile discount .Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350 -
