XC Fork Buying Advice - Cotic Soul 26'er

Hello
I recently bought one of the last Cotic Soul 26'ers and installed my current Rock Shox Recon Race forks, 100mm travel
Cotic recommend a 120mm fork for the frame geometry best handling etc and I've found the Recons to be excellent but do not have the travel i need for rougher rock gardens etc
I planned on ordering some Fox forks however my Cotic dealer has recommended the X Fusion Velvet RL's for the Soul.
Now being a brand whore I've never heard of X Fusion before, but trust my LBS very much.
I ride mostly trail centre red routes, and "off piste" natural rooty, rocky trails.
Any thoughts on these forks?
Cheers
Paul

Very well respected and great value.
Although personally I'd be looking for some good used Reba's.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0
