£300 budget

Hi Guys,

I'm brand new to this forum and need some advice.

I just got into off road biking last with a few trips to swinly forest but mostly just forest trails at black park.

I have a crappy apollo bike and really need to upgrade. I only have a budget of £300 ish as I can't commit too much money to another sport hobby (already snowboard, wakeboard, rock climb, etc...)

I've been looking at a few bikes online but i'm struggling to see the differences.

The Diamondback and GT are diabolical, have terrible forks, and should be burnt with fire.

The Carrera is better but still very mediocre.

Rockrider has by far the best bits. Best of the bunch.

For not much more, this is better than any
