pre-season race tyre bargains

Half-way through my first ever (summer) CX series and looking forward to my first 'proper' winter series… but my Vittoria XGs are already starting to look ragged… so any recommendations on tyre bargains to be had before the winter series pick-up? I'm running clinchers and if I could keep the cost to around £20 per tyre that would be good… currently running 31mm tyres and can't see any reason for going bigger for the winter.
