Garmin 500 Ant+ Sensor Problems

My Garmin 500 display shows that it is picking up the signal from my heart rate monitor and cadence sensor but is not displaying heart rate, or speed when on the turbo. It is displaying cadence. Both monitors have brand new batteries in them.
Any ideas?

Known problem, update the firmware.
There is a Garmin forum that are best for these type questions.0 -
Thanks, but tried that. The firmware has been updated and the problem persists. I'll try posting on their forum though.0
