Thanks to forumite Look565wong, I got the chance to be the new owner of this gorgeous frame which has now been built up as my multi-purpose commuter/trainer/all weather bike to complement my All-Carbon best bike (Scott CR1).

Early impressions are just terrific. First time on titanium, but I love the 'zingy', 'springy' feel and all around comfort the frame gives, while still providing enough stiffness for the multiple traffic light sprints on my commute! The rest of the build has been focused on reliability and personal preferences (Q rings/handlebars) and I still have a few upgrades planned for the future (CK headset/rotor crank  ). Overall, though, I am loving my first Ti experience :D:D

Hope you like it!!

Build List:
- Van Nicholas Chinook (Small)
- Easton EC90SL carbon fork
- FSA headset
- Cinelli/3TTT Biomorphe handlebar (alloy/carbon)

Very nice, strange handlebar drops though.

Well for a titanium love you do like your strange bends in certain places... but it does indeed look a nice frame.
  • Nice build, I think Ti bikes look better without logo'd wheels/seatposts/ forks etc
I'm sorry you don't believe in miracles

Excellent Mark, that's a splendid looking "commuter/trainer/all weather bike" indeed! :D

Personally, I think the new graphics on your Chinook looks a lot better than the older version, less fussy & curvy!

Enjoy the ride (every day) & stay safe on the road.

    Cheers

Great job. Looking at this beauty makes me miss the Firefly I have on order. Delivery time is 14 months and it is a hard wait. Did you ever consider having a Ti fork?
