Where in the World?

Next year, I turn 40 and as is the way of us MAMILs, I'd like to celebrate with an epic cycling event in H2 2016 or H1 2017.
I am a reasonably fit club cyclist and can knock out 100 miles a day with some fairly big climbs (I've done the Bealach Mor on three occasions, for example).
So, the challenge to you guys is - I'd like an event that is something really special, doesn't take more than 1 week and is, ideally, somewhere interesting in the world.
I've looked at doing The Cape Rouleur in 2017 but would love to hear your thoughts on that and also any ideas for alternatives....

This is definitely different and off the beaten track from where most european cyclist would suggest. This would fit your requirement for H1 2016,17 as it takes place in February each year. The actual date is not decided until closer to the event. Haven't done it yet myself but is on my bucket list.

London Edinburgh London is on again in 2017. Great ride and serves to remind you we live on quite an amazing island.0
