Bolts for attaching mudguards
Does anyone know which bolts to purchase when attaching mudguards to a frame? My father has just bought a Planet-X London Road and they also sold him some mudguards. It doesn't seem to have enough bolts to attach them to the frame and the frame doesn't have bolts in situ (just holes for said bolts).
Any ideas which bolts would be appropriate (M5?)?

As you say, probably M5's. If you cant get the correct length cut down with a hacksaw and file smooth. Get some decent stainless M5 cap screws.0

Thanks I'll order these off SJS cycles http://www.sjscycles.co.uk/m5-stainless-steel-bolt-button-head-pack-of-10-prod1830/0 -

I'd go for these in an appropriate length. Deeper hex socket than the ones you linked to. These look like the ones that came supplied with my SKS Chromoplastic guards.0 -
Agreed with Keef - don't get the button heads, get proper cap heads. And don't forget some washers to help spread the load over the wire loop at the bottom of the stay.0

Keef, I think the ones you linked to possibly have too large an unthreaded shank at the head end. Might end up requiring several washers to prevent the unthreaded section wedging in the mudguard eyelet.
These might be a better bet

And as ratfletcher advises - get some washers as well.0
