Hi. I've a Giant Defy 3. After a long ride today I was giving it a clean/once over before putting away and noticed quite a bit of grease had oozed out of the hub all over the lockring for the cassette. I wiped the excess away. Should I be worried? Bikes only done about 600 miles. Cassette seems a bit 'draggy' when you spin it on the hub keeping axle still. Probably due to the grease. Any ideas?

New hub, bearings over-packed probably not helped by warmer weather. Simply wipe-off excess.
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..

Provided there is nothing wrong with the seal I consider grease oozing from the hub a good thing. At least you know there is enough, rather than not enough, grease in the hub . As mentioned, just wipe it off and ride.
