Racing 3 cracked rim

After replacing all the bearings on my Racing 3s I decided to de-sticker them and found this..

I don't know how long it's been like this but the wheels are over 2 years old (Feb 13) and are summer wheels with around 6k miles on them. I'll contact i-Ride next week but in the mean time just wondering if anyone else has had similar issues or might know how rigid they are with regards the 2 year warranty period?

    Strange location for a crack. sure it's not just a scratch?

    Definitely not a scratch, maybe it's not clear in the pictures but it's quite a big crack! On closer inspection it looks like it's at the join of the rim.

    So that's why the sticker was there.....
    So it's a sleeved rim.....well as long as there is no movement between the parts it's probably okay.

    Not good... although I suspect it was there from day one...

    never look behind the sticker... :wink:
