Clicking noise from the BB

On a ride out yesterday, my CAAD 10 started to make a clicking noise - it seems to be coming from the Bottom Bracket, especially when I'm peddling uphill or putting the power down.

Any suggestions on fixing it?

    Bump. Sounds like my bottom bracket too. Interested to find the answer too.

    If it is actually the BB then I understand BB30 is well known for it. Have a Google for BB30 creak, click or noise...

    Yep, seems like the Cannondale BB30 is a common issue.

    Is there an alternative BB30 I can install instead of a direct replacement? Any recommendations?

    There are a number of adapters. The one I used is the Praxis works which effectively converts the bb30 to an external BB. Mine worked a treat but you will also probably need a new crankset.

    There are a couple of others their name escapes me, one is a metal sleeve the other is plastic adapters that you push into the existing bearings.

    Took out the cranks, cleaned and re-lubbed the BB along with the cranks, went for a spin and all seems fine :-)
