Swapping cassette onto new wheels

OK I’m a total novice when it comes to maintenance etc – but thought I’d have a crack at putting my new Ksyrium Elites on to my bike, swapping over the cassette from the old Aksiums that are on it at the moment.
I know I’ll need a lock ring and chain whip and know roughly how to use them having watched a couple of vids.
But as (I think) the Ksyriums are made for an 11-speed cassette, does that mean I will need a spacer to fit my 10-speed cassette?
If so – what spacer do I need, and is there anything else I should know about installing the cassette on my new wheels?
Thanks!

Old Mavic 9/10 speed wheels are 11 speed compatible, meaning it's likely you already have a spacer fitted to the 10 speed cassette on your Aksium's.

I'd arm yourself with a couple of 1mm spacers. Some wheels need a 1.85mm spacer for 10 on an 11.
However, main thing is, if your rear mech sounds like a bag of nails after swapping, you either have 1 too many or 1 not enough on.0 -
The freehub on both wheels is the same, M10. Just swap everthing over and you will be fine.0

The Elites should come supplied with a 1.85mm spacer for use with 10sp cassettes......FFS! Harden up and grow a pair0
