Cannot log on via phone or tablet

Reoccurring problem here, whenever I try to log on to the website via y HTC One and Google Nexus 7 (Android) the log-in pop up does not appear. I've set both to allow pop-ups (why is this a pop-up anyway?) but nothing. Can only log-in from a laptop or PC.
Thoughts, help any one else with the same problem?
