Trek Emonda SLR

Hello guys, here is my Trek Emonda SLR that i have kitted out in Trek's Project one. Coming from riding a steel bike the ride really is phenomenal, very smooth, especially when paired with a tubeless set-up. I beleive the weight is around 6.8 - 6.9 kg but i havn't properly weighed it yet. I recently took it to a close climb to my home (what I like to call an inconvenience climb) an beat my previous PB by 50 seconds!
Enjoy guys
The spec:
In the photos i'm running veloflex tyres, which ride so nice. Since then I have converted to tubeless, so far so good.

Love the colour!
Red cables might be a little to much though0 -
Thanks. I think I'm going to stop there, with all the red!0

Very nice. I agree about the cables though. Don't know why but they make me think of those shoe lace liquorice sweets from the 80's. Other than that it looks greatargon 18 e116 2013 Vision Metron 80

agreed!!!
Looks lovely though ( aside from the cables ) :-)0 -
I thought the done thing was to route the gear cables around the outside of the bars giving a larger radius therefor less drag to the cable?
Nice though...Advocate of disc brakes.0 -

I do mine like this, gear cable behind the bar, brake cable in front. Makes the bar look semi-aero but dog awkward to mount anything on bars.0 -

May be the red cables detract from the awful colourway, tan tires and fugly Ultegra.
Apart from that spot on. And good to see plenty of spacers under the stem.I'm sorry you don't believe in miracles0 -
Love those cables.. (Fear I may be in a minority here though....)

Love the look of this bike! Good to see some colour rather than boring black on black on black on black.
Good job!0 -

What shifters do you use? I thought the gear cable on the ultegra 6800 only routes through to the shifter on the inside.
Gears seem to shift perfectly, although thats probably partly due to the gears being shimano which seem to be smooth what ever the situation.0 -
Like that...0

Really nice bike. I was really impressed with the Emonda SL when I was last looking at bikes. Nice to have something that is personal to you as well.Madone 4.9 2014

what is the name of the colour?
Is it the same ice-baby blue as the team bikes at the TdF 2-3 years ago? That was a lovely colour. When a cyclist has a disagreement with a car; it's not who's right, it's who's left.0 -

No, i'm affraid it's not the same blue. Mine is the powder blue.
I beleive some of the cyclocross riders still us that colour on their bikes, agreed it does look great!0
