Hi

I have a trek 7.3fx bike and the grip handlebar bolt is rounded off, so the grip is moving up and down

I assume the solution is to replace the bolt but i dont know where can i buy it. Trek told me they dont have those bolts

I dont even know the bolt size. It just says 4nm near the bolt hole

Any help?

Thanks

Just from a quick google - this suggests it's a straight bar bike.

There are lots of bolts around - but at a guess from your description you've got some cowbar ends - it's likely that it'll be a standard bolt size/length, so you need to remove the rounded one, measure it and find a similar replacement - TBH, the easiest way will be to remove it, take it into your LBS and get a replacement from there - as you'll be able to visually match them.

Indeed, remove the bolt and go find one similar from a bike shop, hardware store or fixing specialist.

'Grip handlebar bolt' so bar ends, lock on grips or a bolt on the stem that holds the bars on?

4Nm is the tightening torque and could be applied to almost any bolt.
