    Afternoon all,
Been in the garage fettling. Took off the new instrument of torture and put my old saddle back on. Changed a wheel on the car as I found a large screw in one of them. When I finished doing that and came indoors it stopped raining. Went for a short ride yesterday evening but got a call for drinks and barbecue so bailed early, was glad to as I couldn't feel my aris. Going to do some DIY now before another sit down fuelled by tea.

I have to get childcare if I want to ride at weekend, managed it for my race yesterday, 25m TT, third ever. First time under the hour. Very pleased. Did the same course last week at another event and was over 3 mins quicker yesterday.

No bike riding, but I did manage to wash mud off The Panzer that has been there since the last Wales trip at the start of the month. Bike now approx 1kg lighter.

Now dealing with parental related admin, never seems to stop.

Wet and windy 30miles just done. Passed a few of the Norwich 100 riders when they had about 15miles to go, some of them looked farked but understandable given the conditions.

Now warming up with tea, cheese on toast and TMS on the radio. Not a bad way to spend sunday afternoon.

Turbo trained, bit of weights and a dog walk. Now for wine and food. Rain has finally stopped.

Apart from that, nothing special to report from these parts.

Just over 50 miles and my legs told me it felt more like 80.

The wind and rain were consistent, it was just the amount which varied.

Cracked open a beer and chilling.......

So whats all this I hear about a heat wave? When news stations mention how cold or warm the weather will be usually means there's nothing better to report?

Ditto. Although I have the evenings (if I have the energy).

A day looking after toots is twice as hard as a day at work.

It's a thought, but I'm not 100% sure that the Atherton brothers are falling over themselves to hang out with middle aged accountants
