Colnago Master - what colour scheme?

So this might not be the right place to post this, but then again I’m hoping that the viewers of the ‘your bikes’ thread will have the best taste. I’m the proud owner of a colnago master in molteni orange. She is the modern version and is very beautiful but sadly has taken a couple of knocks in the last couple of years so I’m considering getting a strip and respray. I fancy getting something a bit different but still faithful to colnago history. I’m not a fan of the art décor scheme or indeed the saronni red and I’m struggling to find inspiration on the internet.

I was wondering if anyone had any ideas of unusual but still faithful colnago paint schemes from the past that really show this fantastic bike off?

I promise to post pics once done!

Many Thanks

David

I'm rather taken with the blue and yellow of the Master in the link below. She's just got some new wheels, and if the weather's good tomorrow we'll be heading off for a photo shoot at the local castle. So hopefully there will be new pictures posted here soon.

I really like the molteni Orange.
  • PR82 -red Saronni, white panels -gorgeous
PR03 - white with blue lug fades- classy
PR99 - pure white, similar to Saronni - pure
PRZA - emeral blue with white panels, nod to Zabel's final team, Milram

    Google them, they're all gorgeous

    Me too - looks fab.

Speak to Neil at Atlantic Boulevard - he did a fabulous respray job for me on one of my Colnagos

Rourkes did a respray and custom decals on my old bike at a reasonable price. I'm very pleased with the results.

If you're in the South-West, Argos cycles in Bristol are supposed to be pretty good for that sort of thing.
