Replacing Shoe Ratchets and Boa dials.

Hi all :D

I'm looking into getting a new pair of cycling shoes.
I've been looking at pairs under €150, mainly the Shimano R171.

My only concern is what could happen if I crashed with them on.
If the buckle was dragged on the ground, would it rip out of the shoes and ruin them? Or would it break off and just need to be replaced?
If the latter was true, could a new ratchet even be bought?

I'm also asking along what a Boa dial would do in the same situation.

I hope that what I'm trying to say is clear.

Thanks for any help,
Cormac.

Specialized do a selection of ratchets and Boa dials to replace theirs; I'd imagine that Shimano offer a similar deal.
