Hi all,
After I got myself a brand new Anthem X2 2013 now its time to upgrade the bike for my wife.
She does nothing serious, but I want to get her something which will not fall apart...and with OK for and hydro brakes.
She has been using a cheep Moongoose etc. - been around the Europe with us but sometimes I think its not up to the job.
Anyway, was thinking to go for Boardman Team (second hand in good nick) but she says if I got myself a brand new bike why would I buy her a second hand one ???
Therefore I am on the market for a new bike, but in region of 600£.
What do you think guys about this one :
http://www.halfords.com/cycling/bikes/m ... mp-ht-650b
or this:
http://www.bike-discount.de/en/buy/rado ... wg_id-6666
Any other options out there ??
I want to avoid 29-ers...
Thanks

For what it's worth my wife likes her merida Juliet, nothing fancy but good enough for what she wants. Have fun satisfying the wifes request for a new bike, ie wrong colour, saddle etc.
Yes, she went: "I need a bike in correct colour to match my helmet..."0
