Budget/Value Tyres

Hi all,
My current set of tyres are on the way out, and being a bit unemployed at the moment, I am skint.
So trying to source a set of 23 tyres for under £25, there's a few about, but are there any standout tyres in this price bracket?
I ride about 100 - 150 miles a week on roads of varying quality. Am currently on Ultremos ZLX, which, although lovely and zippy, are not the most hard wearing.
Thanks

Thanks for the swift reply Oxoman,
But am looking to get a pair for my £25 (Skint)0 -
Vittoria Rubinho pro are not a bad tyre, loads of deals on them, some people might say they're no good in the wet, I've always found the ok, you should get a pair for around that.0

I know it's over your £25 budget but decathlon have michelin pro4 endurance in 23c for £15.99
Their supposed to be good, hard wearing tyres0 -

Less than £20 for a pair in 23mm..great value (add sumat for 2 pence to get free delivery) you won't be troubling strava too often, but they wear very well and are comfortable for recreational cycling.Tell the stars I'm coming,
make them leave a space for me;
whether bones, or dust,
or ashes once among them I'll be free0 -
Cheers All,
Looks like it's the Rubino's then. Thanks for your help0 -
Just t oadd another option to the mix, Michelin Lithion 2 can usually be had for £12 or so and are damn good tyres for the money. Although with Pro4 at £16, that is definitely where my money would go!0

These Schwalbe Lugano came as standard on my Synapse, they're not half bad. I swapped them after 6 months, but they really caused me no problems at all.

I went for the bargain-tastic wire Rubinos when I was trying to get a bike on the road as cheaply as possible. Sliced the rear open on a flint shard on their second wet ride. Tight fistedness saw me stick a patch on the inside of the tyre to try and get some more wear out of them. Grip in the wet isn't very inspiring.0

If you can stretch to £29:

I've got the 25mm version of these and would buy more if I could find another pair at this price.0 -
Rubino are also currently 40% off here - http://tidd.ly/36553210

Michelin Lithion are great for about £12 each0

Another vote for the 10 quid folding 150tpi rubino pro from amazon.
Annoying amazons minuim free postage is £20 though.
The cheaper rubinio 60tpi wired ones I wouldn't bother with.0 -

Out of interest, why did you swap them out..?Boardman HT Team - Hardtail

The wired and folding Rubino are very different. Get the folding Rubino Pro in 25c if you can - the grip in the wet seems to be better (from various reports on here) for the wider tyre.ROAD < Scott Foil HMX Di2, Volagi Liscio Di2, Jamis Renegade Elite Di2, Cube Reaction Race > ROUGH0
