Hello everyone! New guy to this community :)
So fellow riders I'm planing to move to next level of mountain biking.
My 3 years old starter MTB Corratec X-Vert bike no longer satisfies my needs Its to heavy, have no disk brakes and starting to break and Its not worth to repair/upgrade/invest into that bike.
After long searching for what kind of ride i need, I made a decision that i will stay with hard tail bike.

Here is what I'm choosing from -
http://www.specialized.com/no/en/bikes/mountain/stumpjumper/stumpjumper-comp-29
https://www.canyon.com/en/mountainbikes/bike.html?b=3650
https://www.canyon.com/en/mountainbikes ... tml?b=3648

Most important question, Can someone tell me a good reason to buy M5 alloy specialized ower canyon ?
Or even carbon comp specialized
Price difference is huge especially Specialized Carbon version

After this help me compere those two canyon models, Which one more worth to buy ? most important is fork comparing

The stumpjumper is a cross country race bike. This means it will be light, stiff and fast. I have a Carve which is similar but slightly more relaxed riding position. The spec is lower than the canyon but you really have to buy the bike that makes you want to go out and ride. One of our neighbours has a carbon stumpjumper which he races at national level all over the UK. He wanted a very light, stiff bike and has upgraded it a fair bit.

Best to go to a big bike shop and have a look round, and do some test rides to see what you think. My wife and i both did this and found bikes we really enjoy riding. But you won't easily beat canyon for price and spec.
