Anybody used a Whistle Miwok Bike?

Hi, Im wondering has anyone used the Whistle Miwok 1489D bike? I'm new to biking and like the look and spec of this bike.

    For the money that doesn't look like a very well specc'ed bike.
    There are much better value bikes for around the same money. Have a look at the VooDoo Aizan, Kona NuNu or Calibre Point.50 for example.

    For just over £300 you will get a bike with hydraulic discs, much better than cable, it's also pretty heavy for a 26".

    The Carrera Vulcan, Calibre two-two or Rockrider 520 are all much better bikes.

    The Peak has an even worse fork than the Whistle.

    When asking about bikes it helps to include a link to the specs so we are all looking at the same bike.
    Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.

    Neither is worth buying as an MTB, but at that price the DB is at least priced about right for what you get.

    If you are. Willing to buy used there are some barely used bikes at this level for a good price. For instance I picked up a barely used voodoo hoodoo which is the model up from the bantu for under £200, just requires a bit of patience to find the right one.
