first time tubeless

I'm converting my wheels to tubeless using the stans kit. The front has gone fine so far but I've had an issue with the rear tyre.
I can get the rear to seal up but it seems to bulge upwards at around the valve area. There is a bit of a gap as marked from what is suppose to be the edge of the tyre to the rim, it makes for a bouncy ride if you try to ride it but seems to hold air over the last 4 or 5 days. What do I need to do to get it to mount correctly or have I done something wrong?

tyre isn't seated properly, the bead is probably touching the vave seal.0
