One of the guys I ride with had his bike stolen, as is the usual course of events pictures were put on all the local cycling FB pages with no real hope it would ever be seen again.
12 days later one of the people from one of the groups was browsing Gumtree and there was the stolen bike, info passed back to the owner, passed to Police, bike recovered and now back with it's owner and one tea leaf in custody for theft and a few other offences that came to light as a result of the Old Bill visiting his house.
OK maybe CD's assertion that all bikes on Gumtree are stolen isn't quite true, but this one certainly was!

Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.
