Any Pivot Mach 6 owners out there?

Time to upgrade... I'm loving the look of the Pivot Mach 6, only concern is whether this could be too much bike. I'm changing my 2011 Commencal Meta 55 which has largely met my needs over the last 3 or so years. Typical rides are trail centre reds (from local blast around Swinley, Cannock, and Coed-y-brenin etc in Wales). We also typically head out to Morzine once a year as well.
Just interested to hear any owners reports, and whether you think I may find the Mach 6 overkill for everything except the Alps. For reference, the other option would be a Pivot Mach 5.7 or similar.
