Things to get with my new road bike purchase?

Hi Folks

I recently purchased my first road bike (http://www.paulscycles.co.uk/m7b0s23p5171/CANNONDALE-CAADX-105-2013) via a friend who's based in the UK. Considering I reside in Pakistan where a lot of decent stuff for cycling is not available, are there are any particular things or components that you would recommend I ask my friend to get to complement this purchase?

My experience with road bikes is extremely limited so any info on this will be greatly appreciated.

    Thats a cycle cross bike, not a road bike.

    May be buy some slick tyres?

    I'm thinking you're making assumptions about the state of the roads in Pakistan....

    Decent bibshorts
    Cycling jersey (s) with rear pockets
    Mitts
    Spare inner tube
    Puncture kit incl tyre levers
    Spare quick links for chain
    Mini pump
    Multitool
    Bottle cages, bottles
    SPD pedals and corresponding shoes
    Helmet
    Decent lights if cycling at night (and reflective kit)
