Anyone thinking about doing the Wiggle SDW century?

I know it goes against our grain, it being longer than an hour 'n' all, just wondering if anyone was going to give it a bash and before we get loads of "I'd never pay for it, I can do it for free" the question isn't 'would' you, it's 'are' you?

No. One of my neighbours is talking about doing the SDW, but I don't think as part of this. If it's wet there is lots of sticky clay type soil. A colleague had trouble with mud clearance on an MTB with yards of clearance.

Do they hold the gates open for you? BHF also do an arranged ride mid-summer but couldn't think of anything worse than battling for trail space with lots of bikes and walkers - some of the climbs are pretty tough going with fairly narrow lines depending on conditions.
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..
