He probably wasn't feeling great at Romandie after a heavy crash at Liege. He seemed to be going quite well in some of Richie's other races this year and he should be in with a shout of making the TdF SKY team.

His main targets are the Tour and the Vuelta, so a quiet start.

He is riding for Sky. He is riding for others. He is therefore anonymous, without personal intent and unable to express his attacking mentality. That is all the has changed.

Him being average. That has stayed the same.

By definition a rider who has finished 10 of his 13 Grand Tours in the top 30 is better than average.

He's aiming to ride the tour to support froome, San sebastian as a leader, and the Veulta role dependant on Froome.

Also he won one chipper and one GT stage in his time at Saxo, hardly an attacking masterclass

You mean like the attacking intention he showed on the AdH stage of the Tour 2013?

Don't riders who attack ride with panache and true fans are only interested in panache, not results?
How many times have we heard FF go on about how his riders attack to please the true fans.

FF is as confused as his hero Lazarus the liar.

So much of what you say Frenchie implies you understand so little about cycling. Maybe if you actually rode your bike occassionally, and pushed your own limits you might understand more. 8)

I thought the idea was that he was employed as a super domestique a la Ritchie Porte in the 2013 tour?

Why isn't Frenchie fighting for a Frenchman ?

I know this is a joke, but a apparently his mum was quite upset when he gave up his dual nationality.
