I saw this on one of the pop up adverts.
and concluded that it could be possible for the bike to overhang by more than a meter. Or is it an optical illusion. Anyway, if you've got one and your bikes overhang by more than a meter then you need to have the end clearly visible (i.e. bright flag and/or light if using at night).

That's UK law of course. And nothing wrong with selling the carrier here either, up to the end use to comply. At least its a bloody sight better than all those folks driving around with lights totally obscured. And if you get with 1m you're too damn close!0

I've got one of these bike racks fitted to my peugeot and just measured the distance the rear wheel protudes from the back of the car 710mm or if I took the measurement from the rear bumper its 660mm.0

Looks like aero bars with padding on the drops and tape at the top to hold cables in place.0
