Yes, that was my thought too. I have read threads about gearing, were people have commented that they would prefer a closer ratio cassette that dispensed with the 11/12T sprocket and used a 13T instead. Seems like this may fit the bill, if used with a compact 34/50T you still have a reasonable climbing gear, you lose out on the top end, 50-14 = 93.9", though gain the close ratios.0
